ProxiGene / Report guide

How to Read Your ProxiGene Report

Learn how to read your ProxiGene report, from genetic markers and category ratings to peptide and nutritional insights, lifestyle considerations, and safety information. This guide explains how the report presents its findings and helps you prepare questions for a qualified healthcare provider.

Example only, not actual test results

This is an educational genetic report, not a diagnostic test. It does not diagnose a condition, prescribe treatment. Review your results with a qualified physician or healthcare provider before starting any protocol.

  1. xStep 1

    Understanding Your Genetic Markers

The report evaluates single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), normal genetic variations that are widely present in the general population. Each category is built around a set of genes described in the report as correlating with that area of biology, and the markers listed under a category, the gene, its rsID, and your genotype, are the specific SNPs the test looked at there.

  2. Step 2

Understanding High, Medium, and Low Ratings

The report looks at patterns across the genes in each category and groups the results into High, Medium, or Low, a way of pointing to areas that may benefit from additional discussion or support, not a diagnosis or a measure of your current health.

  3. Step 3

Lifestyle, Nutrition, Supplements, and Labs to Consider

Read any Lifestyle Considerations, Nutritional Insights, Supplements to Consider, and Other Labs to Consider included in the category. Review each entry alongside its explanation and qualifications. These sections provide information for discussion with your healthcare provider; they are not instructions to start supplements, change your diet, or order laboratory tests on your own.

  4. Step 4

    Understanding Associated Biosynthetix

Where a category shows elevated risk in the report, the report ranks related peptides, bioregulators, and supplements in order of relevance to your specific genetic markers. Each one comes with its own Biosynthetix Safety Warnings and Supplement Interactions detail directly below the ranking.

  5. Step 5

When No Associated Biosynthetix Are Listed

Some categories won't include any Associated Biosynthetix at all. That's not an error, it means the markers tested in that category came back low risk in the report, so there's nothing elevated for the report to flag there.

  6. Step 6

    Reading Safety Warnings and Interactions

Each peptide or supplement in your Associated Biosynthetix ranking includes a Safety Warning, general cautions like common side effects or who should be extra careful. These are generic to the peptide itself, not personalized to your specific results, so the same warning text appears for anyone whose report lists that peptide.

  7. Step 7

    Where to Start Reading

The full report spans multiple categories and sections and is dense by design. You don't need to read it cover to cover in one sitting, start with the categories tied to what you're actually working on, and build from there.

How to Use Your Report

  • Start with the Analysis Summary to see which categories came back High, Medium, or Low
  • Read the full write-up for the categories tied to your goals
  • Read the Biosynthetix Safety Warnings and Supplement Interactions for anything ranked in your categories
  • Keep it handy to revisit as your goals change
  • Talk to a qualified physician or healthcare provider about your results before starting any protocol

This guide describes how the report presents information, not clinical validation of its risk labels or rankings. Example rankings, suggested labs, doses, and safety warnings are not personalized medical advice or prescribing instructions; inclusion does not establish that a peptide or supplement is safe or effective for you.
